Our Step Into Sport programme is designed specifically for Year 8 and 9 students who are just beginning to think about their future. At this early stage, it's vital to spark curiosity, raise aspirations, and show them how school subjects connect to real-world opportunities—especially in an industry as exciting and diverse as sport.
Through a fun, interactive workshop, students are introduced to a wide range of careers within the sports sector, including roles in coaching, science, health, media, technology, and business. We use real-life examples, relatable role models, and engaging activities to help students imagine what their own future in sport could look like.
What the Workshop Covers:
✅ What it means to work in sport – and where it can take you
✅ Real examples of career journeys from people in the industry
✅ How school subjects (like PE, Science, Business, Media, etc.) link to career options
✅ Early goal-setting and confidence building
This session fits perfectly into PSHE timetables, enrichment days, or careers awareness weeks, and gives your students a valuable first step in understanding life beyond education.
